Deployment concepts:
- The same deployment module for all your JACi400 applications,
- Multiple built-in funcitons:
- The printer function: Using only Internet
Explorer on the client PC means no more using Client Access.
This printer function works (and replace) as Client Access,
- The emulation function: If you don't have all
the source programs of all your applications and/or if you use
some OS/400 commands in your programs, JACi400 Deployment will
switch automtically to this function. You can see the result
of the WRKCTJOB command here
- The Office API: This API can be used to
present your data inside any Windows program on the client PC.
For example you can use all the graphic presentations of Excel
to enhance your data. This API is called in RPG or Cobol,
- The download API: This API can be used to
display any database file, using any number of lines and
columns and to ask the user if he(she) wants to prepare a
".csv" file to download on the client. This API can
be called in RPG or Cobol,
- The Web 2.0 support: This is specially done to use
the "suggest" fied, which is probably the easiest
and the fastest way to find any record in huge database files.
